Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Chhattisgarh’s 25th statehood anniversary by launching a series of ambitious development initiatives and new infrastructure projects, amounting to over Rs 14,260 crore. Addressing a large gathering, he detailed the state’s significant progress, particularly in ensuring essential services reach every citizen. Key highlights included the expansion of rural electrification, the availability of internet in all villages, and the widespread distribution of Ujjwala gas connections. The Prime Minister also noted the transformation of rural connectivity, with a 40,000 km road network now linking even remote areas. A cornerstone of the event was the dedication of 3.51 lakh houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, alongside significant financial aid for rural housing beneficiaries. The inauguration of the new Vidhansabha building, a green structure powered by solar energy, and cultural sites dedicated to local heroes, underscored a vision for a modern, sustainable, and culturally rich Chhattisgarh poised for continued growth.
