Ola Electric has introduced the S1 Pro Sport, a new, sport-focused version of its S1 electric scooter. With a starting price of ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the S1 Pro Sport features design upgrades and introduces a new 4680-type battery. The S1 Pro Sport is designed to compete directly with other high-end electric scooters.
Redesigned Aesthetics and ADAS Technology
The S1 Pro Sport features a redesigned front end with the Ola logo and a camera for ADAS functionalities, including collision detection. The scooter utilizes MoveOS 6 to support these features. Design enhancements include a new seat, carbon fiber front fender, a carbon fiber grab handle, and an aero windshield. The scooter rides on 14-inch wheels.
Performance Specifications
The S1 Pro Sport is powered by an in-house designed ferrite electric motor that delivers 16 kW of peak power and 71 Nm of torque. The motor design minimizes the use of rare earth elements. The 5.2 kWh battery pack uses 4680 cells, which allows the scooter to achieve a top speed of 152 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 2 seconds, with an IDC range of 320 km.
Advanced Rider Assistance
The S1 Pro Sport includes advanced rider assistance features, such as collision warnings, blind spot detection, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and overspeeding alerts. The scooter also offers an upgraded user interface with voice assistant, custom display themes, ride analytics, predictive maintenance alerts, and smart charging capabilities.
