The Jharkhand Congress is actively seeking new media talent through its ‘National Media Talent Hunt Program,’ a nationwide initiative now rolling out in the state. This program is poised to recruit articulate and ideologically aligned spokespersons for regional and state-level party representation. State Congress President Keshav Mahto Kamlesh detailed the commencement of this month-long selection process, emphasizing the qualities sought in candidates: strong political acumen, impressive communication skills, a firm grasp of history, comfort in media interactions, and the ability to present facts compellingly.

To manage the selection efficiently, Jharkhand has been strategically divided into seven zones, covering all major areas including Palamu, Kolhan, Deoghar, Dumka, Jamtara, Sahebganj, Godda, Pakur, Ramgarh, Chatra, Koderma, Hazaribagh, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Giridih, and the South Chotanagpur region. This inclusive structure aims to tap into diverse talent pools across the state. A key feature of this program, as highlighted by its Eastern region in-charge, is its commitment to transparency, with involvement from NGOs, civil society, and media professionals to ensure a fair and independent selection, accessible without reliance on political patronage.
