    Raipur : Under the leadership of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, unprecedented development is taking place in Bastar region. Recently, NITI Aayog honored the state government for his outstanding performance in the education sector. The award has been given as appreciation of efforts made to improve education in tribal dominated areas of Bastar. During the tenure of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, many important initiatives have been taken in the fields of education, health, infrastructure and social welfare of Bastar. Especially the wave of reforms in remote and Naxal -affected areas like Bastar is being appreciated at the national level as well.

    NITI Aayog prize Rs 3 crore to Bastar district

    NITI Aayog has presented a prize of Rs 3 crore to Bastar district for his outstanding performance in the education sector. This achievement is a matter of pride not only for Bastar district, but for the entire Chhattisgarh state, which can be considered an important step towards social and economic development through education.

    Bastar: From backwardness to development

    The Bastar region was earlier known for Naxal violence, poverty and backwardness. The tribal communities settled in the inaccessible hilly areas and forests here lacking education and basic facilities. But under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the state government has made constant efforts to improve education, health and basic facilities in the region.

    Chief Minister’s Vision: Make Bastar a model

    Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said, “Our goal is to bring Bastar forward not only on the map, but on every scale of development. The reforms made in the field of education are just the beginning. Bastar will become a model for the whole country in the coming years. ”

    Historical reforms in the field of education

    Chief Minister Sai Sarkar introduced many innovative schemes in the field of education in Bastar district, such as:

    .Bast Gyan Deep Yojana: Smart classrooms, digital library and interactive learning tools were provided to connect tribal children with modern education.

    – Education Sanjeevani Center: Education Sanjeevani Kendras were established in Naxal -affected areas, where children are being given quality education.

    -Facified Shiksha Abhiyan: Mid-day meal scheme is being upgraded and provided nutritious food to children.

    Awards and its importance by NITI Aayog

    NITI Aayog gave a prize of Rs 3 crore to Bastar district, which resulted in improvement in Bastar’s education system and making the teaching process more effective. NITI Aayog Deputy Chairman Suman Behera said, “Efforts made in the field of education in Bastar are inspiring.”

    Other aspects of development of Bastar

    Apart from education, many other development works have been done in Bastar:
    – Development of road and infrastructure
    – Improvement of health services
    – Many schemes to promote employment and entrepreneurship

    Public reaction

    Now the people of Bastar are also feeling these changes. Meera Kashyap, a local tribal woman, said, “Now children are getting good education, which will brighten their future.”

    Expect stability in the coming years

    The pace of development is fast, but it has to be seen whether this change will remain permanent in the coming years or not. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Bastar is now moving towards development, and confirms the award given by NITI Aayog.
