TVS has launched the XL100 Heavy Duty Alloy, a new addition to the XL100 series. This model is equipped with alloy wheels and tubeless tires. The ex-showroom price is ₹59,800, making it the highest-priced variant in the XL100 range, which also includes four other models.

The addition of alloy wheels gives the TVS XL100 Heavy Duty a fresh aesthetic, enhanced by color options like red, blue, and gray. The overall design remains consistent, featuring a single seat, a round headlight, and handlebars. The XL100 incorporates EcoThrust fuel injection, self-start, an LED headlight, and tubeless tires, improving fuel economy, start-up ease, and safety.

The XL100 Heavy Duty Alloy retains its mechanical specifications. It is powered by a 99.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 4.3 hp and 6.5 Nm of peak torque. It features telescopic front suspension and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Drum brakes are used for stopping power on both wheels. Despite the upgrades, the curb weight is the same as other variants, at 89 kg.

The weight of this variant is consistent with that of the three other XL 100 models, weighing in at 89 kilograms. The base XL 100 Heavy Duty model is only 1 kg lighter. The model also includes an LED headlight, an easy on-off switch, and a mobile charging port. The XL100 has a significant presence in the Indian market.
