Naiduniya representative, Mandsaur. Police have arrested three accused in the murder case of Vishal Prajapati, a windmill security guard in village Nariya of Garoth police station. All three are habitual thieves and on the night of the murder, they were returning after stealing soybean from a warehouse in Manpura. During this time, when the security guard arrived, he was murdered.
That’s why he killed the security guard
After stealing soybean from the warehouse, the three accused were emptying the soybean from the sacks into the pickup near the windmill. Meanwhile, security guard Vishal Prajapati reached there and started checking the pickup.
The security guard was informing someone on his mobile that soybean was loaded in the pickup. Enraged by this, the three accused killed him by hitting him with a knife and stabbing him. After the murder, the accused took the soybean to Daloda Mandi and sold it for Rs 75,000.

SP Anurag Sujania said that on July 31, 30-year-old Shyamlal, son of Kailashchandra Vyas, resident of Kuravan, had reported that in the village of Nariya Bujurg, on the unpaved road near the crusher, the accused in a pickup truck killed 30-year-old Vishal Prajapati, a windmill security guard, by making serious attacks on his head, mouth and face with a sharp weapon.
On the complaint of the complainant, the police started the investigation by registering a case under Section 103(1), 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code at Garoth police station. SP Anurag Sujania, Garoth ASP Hemlata Kuril had closely inspected the scene of the incident and given necessary instructions.
500 CCTVs scanned
Police teams examined the footage of about 500 CCTV cameras from village Khajuri Runda, Satkheda, Melkheda, Bani, Kuravan, Basai, Sitamau, Bilantri and Daloda. Information about the accused arrested in the past for serious crimes in Garoth, Shamgarh, Suwasra and Bhanpura police stations was also obtained from informers.

Based on the information, 32-year-old Dwarkalal, 24-year-old Radheshyam Bagri, 42-year-old Mohanlal Bagri were detained along with the pickup near the Ansar river bridge on Friday at 12 noon and were questioned at the police station. These three confessed to killing Vishal Prajapati by hitting him with an iron rod and a knife.
Soybeans were stolen from Manpura
During interrogation, the accused told that they had stolen 32 sacks of soybean from Siddhi Vinayak Warehouse in Manpura. The stolen soybean was sold at Daloda Mandi for Rs 75190 at the rate of Rs 4100 per quintal. The arrested accused will be produced in the court and further action will be taken by taking police remand.
