Navdunia Representative, Sagar: A major road accident took place near Jatashankar on Sagar-Garhkota Road on Friday evening, in which a speeding truck ran over a car. Five people, including a woman and a child, died on the spot in the accident. The driver of the car is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment.

Went to see a relative admitted in hospital

The Jain family that died in the accident belonged to Parsoria, who had gone to Sagar to see their relative who was admitted there. While returning from there in a car, they collided with an Eicher truck coming from Damoh near Jatashankar. The wheel of the truck ran over the car. Due to which the car was completely damaged.

Five dead, driver critical

In the accident, Sandesh Jain (38 years), father Suresh Chand Jain, Nidhi Jain (35 years), husband Sandesh Jain, Prabha Jain (55 years), wife Suresh Chand Jain, Nancy (27 years), husband Shailendra Jain, Utkarsh (4 years), father Shailendra Jain died on the spot. Parsoria resident Bablu Khan, who was driving the car, was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment.

The body of the car had to be cut

Nancy Jain’s father was admitted in Basant Hospital. Nancy’s brother-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and Nancy’s four-year-old son Utkarsh had gone to Sagar in a car to see him, from where they were returning to Parsoria. Then this accident happened. JCB was called on the spot and the truck was removed from the top of the car. After which the bodies were taken out by cutting the body of the damaged car.
