Baba arrested for cheating Mahamandaleshwar of 30 lakhs, did fraud in the name of buying land in Ayodhya

Naiduniya representative, Khandwa. Police has arrested the accused who had defrauded Mahamandleshwar Vivekanand Puri resident Ahmedpur Khaigaon, presently residing in Mortakkka district Khandwa of Rs 30 lakh in the name of getting land in Ayodhya.

Mahamandleshwar Puri had complained about this to the Moghat police station Khandwa police about seven months ago. On this, the police had registered a case under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code against Siddhant alias Krishna Kumar Rajput resident of village Karan Chhapra district Ballia Uttar Pradesh.

Khandwa police has brought the accused Baba from Rohtak jail on transit remand. He was produced in Khandwa court on Tuesday and taken on remand.

Moghat police station SI Bhimsingh Mandloi said that Vivekanand, son of Manohar Puri, a resident of Ahmedpur Khaigaon, on the advice of a friend, had transferred Rs 30 lakh online to the accused Siddhant Rajput to buy land in Ayodhya.

After receiving the money, the alleged Baba not only stopped helping the family with the land but also stopped picking up the phone. In this case, a case under section 420 was registered against Siddhant Rajput.

During investigation of the case, it was found that Baba was in Rohtak jail in Haryana. It is said that Baba had cheated about 20 lakh rupees in Rohtak also.

In this case, the accused Baba says that out of the 30 lakh rupees received for the land, his son ran away from home with 19 lakh rupees. Because of this, he could not deal with the land.

He has deposited the remaining amount of Rs 11 lakh in the Rohtak court. The case is being investigated by the Moghat police.
