The administration demolished the house of one party during road construction. During this, a dispute broke out between the two parties. During this, one party opened fire.

Due to this, a person from the other side got shot in the thigh. Due to which he was seriously injured. He was admitted to the district hospital for treatment. After primary treatment, the person was referred to Gwalior for treatment. The incident happened around 11 am on Tuesday morning.

According to the information, Ramkaran Kushwaha and Ramkishan Kushwaha are neighbours in Ridauli village. There is an old dispute between the two. It is said that Ramkishan Kushwaha’s house was on the roadside. The house was becoming an obstacle in the construction of the road.

For this reason, Ramkishan’s house was demolished on administrative orders. After the house was demolished, a dispute arose between the two parties. At this time, the firing incident took place. In this incident, 55-year-old Ramkaran Kushwaha got shot in the leg. Due to which he was seriously injured. The injured has accused the opposite party of shooting him and he told the names of half a dozen people to the police.

At the time of firing, the Tehsildar and other officials were present there. Whereas the Tehsildar says that no dispute took place in front of him. Here, Congress party workers and people from Ramkishan Kushwaha’s side have staged a sit-in protest at the Collectorate regarding the incident of breaking the encroachment and the allegations made by the youth who was injured by the bullet.

Many officials including Congress District President Mansingh Kushwaha are present among the protesters. They have protested against the demolition of houses in the name of encroachment during the rainy season and have demanded action against the Sarpanch Secretary and Patwari. They have called the firing incident wrong and have asked for an investigation into the matter. During this, the protesters gave a memorandum to Collector Sanjeev Srivastava in the Collectorate.

In the memorandum given to the collector, it was told that due to the negligence of the Panchayat Secretary and Patwari in Ridauli Panchayat, the Sarpanch, in a spirit of revenge, damaged the house of Ramkishan Kushwaha son of Vidyaram Kushwaha during the rain without any measurement. The victim has lost his means of living in the rain.

Therefore, the culprits should be suspended and a case should be registered against them. Also, the victim should be given five lakh rupees as compensation and a house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. During this, Congress District President Mansingh Kushwaha, Dr. Radheshyam Sharma, Shyamusingh Bhadauriya, Gopal Chaurasia, Amarsingh Shakya, Suraj, Rajveer Baghel, Brijesh Kushwaha etc. were present.
