Umaria. The work of connecting Umaria station to the third line has started. Along with this, many important trains passing through Umaria will remain canceled for the next twenty days. The most important trains among these are Bilaspur-Bhopal-Bilaspur Express 18235 and 18236 which will remain canceled for 20 days from 24 August.

Bilaspur-Katni MEMU train also cancelled

On Saturday, Bilaspur-Katni MEMU train and Chirmiri-Katni train were also cancelled. During this time, work will be done to connect Umaria railway station to the third line. This work will run from 24 August to 5 September. After this, from 26 August to 9 September, work will be done to connect Damoh railway station to the third rail line between Katni Mudwara-Bina railway stations of West Central Railway Jabalpur Railway Division. This is the reason why this train was cancelled.

Work will be done simultaneously, 46 trains cancelled

Many other trains will also be cancelled from August 27 due to the work of connecting stations with the third line. 46 trains have been cancelled due to these two works on different dates. Information regarding this has already been issued. However, passengers will face trouble only once.

Udaipur-Shalimar Express also cancelled

This is the first time that both zones have decided to complete the work on the same date. If the work were different, the trains would have been cancelled in two phases. Due to which passengers would have faced more difficulties. Apart from Bhopal Express, 20971 Udaipur-Shalimar Express train leaving from Udaipur on 24 August will also be cancelled.
