Naiduniya representative, Singrauli. The CBI action against officers and suppliers in NCL Northern Coalfield Limited continued on Monday as well. Based on the facts found in the action on Saturday and Sunday, the CBI team raided the hideouts of some NCL officers on Monday as well.
The search for cash, jewellery and important documents is also going on in the houses of these officers. After the raids on the residences of NCL officers on Saturday and Sunday, speculations were being made that the CBI team may reach the residences of some other prominent officers of NCL on Monday as well.
The CBI team arrived at 6 am on Monday
From 6 am on Monday, the CBI team reached the residence of NCL’s Director Technical Planning and Project Sunil Prasad and Chief Security Officer Ravindra Prasad. It is said that Ravindra Prasad was found missing from his house. After this, the local police team has been deployed at his house, which has been given strict instructions that no person should enter the CVO bungalow.
At the same time, a 3-member team reached the house of director Sunil Prasad and started investigating. This raid is being conducted by a special CBI team that arrived from Delhi and is being led by Additional SP Mukesh Kumar.
4 crore cash recovered so far
According to the official information given by the CBI, cash worth about Rs 4 crore has been recovered from NCL officials during the raid. After seizing it, the CBI has arrested NCL Manager (Secretariat) and CMD’s PS Subedar Ojha.

According to the CBI, during the search conducted on Saturday, August 17, cash worth Rs 3.85 crore was recovered from Ojha’s residence. This amount was collected from several contractors and officials. The CBI has also arrested Ravi Shankar Singh, director of M/s Sangam Engineering, Singrauli, who was allegedly acting as a middleman between various contractors and businessmen and several NCL officials.
