The accused took action after being asked to repay the loan amount of Rs. 5 lakhs. He was murdered by hitting the head with a hammer multiple times. The police solved the case within a few hours.

Naiduniya representative, Harda. The police solved the mystery of the blind murder of a person that happened a day before under the Kartana police outpost of Timarni police station area. The reason behind the murder was money transaction. Timarni SDOP Akanksha Talaya said that on the morning of 20th July, the blood-soaked body of Santosh father Mahesh Bhukar, caste Jat, age 45 years, resident of Kartana was found near the electric pole on Rundlay Road in Kartana.

A case of murder under section 103(2) of BNS was registered against the unknown accused and investigation was taken up. With the help of local informer network, professional expertise and cyber cell, evidence related to the murder of deceased Santosh was collected.

The deceased had to take a loan of Rs 5 lakh from Mahesh father Ramgopal Jat age 44 years resident of Kartana. The deceased Santosh was repeatedly asking Mahesh Jat to take the loan amount.

Mahesh did not have money to pay the loan

He was very upset at the demand for money. So on the night of 19th July, he took Santosh to his empty house in Kartana to drink alcohol. When Santosh started getting drunk, Mahesh saw an opportunity and hit Santosh on the head several times with a hammer kept in the house.

Santosh writhed in pain for a while and died on the spot

To make the murder look like an accident, the accused Mahesh dragged Santosh’s body from the house and threw it near an electric pole on Rundlay Road. This murder was causing anger in the area. The police took immediate action and arrested the accused from Gondagaon on Sunday.

He will be presented before the court on Monday. SP Abhinav Chaukse announced a cash prize for the team that succeeds in solving the blind murder case.
