Vinay Yadav, Indore. Research is now being done in the government hospitals of the city for the treatment of various diseases. Research is going on in MY Hospital for the quick healing of diabetic foot wounds. In which diabetic foot wounds are being healed with stomach fat. Due to diabetes, wounds often appear on the feet. Which are very difficult to heal.
Medicines are used for this, but a research has been done by the Department of Surgery and Plastic Surgery. In which it has come to light that diabetic foot wounds can be healed faster than medicines by the patient’s own stomach fat. Doctors told that in this we heal the wound by extracting stem cells from stomach fat. In this, first of all we extract stem cells from the patient’s stomach fat.
There is a separate insect for this
After this, it is applied on the patient’s wound. After applying it, we have seen that while medicines take ten days to heal the wound, stem cells provide relief in just five days. This is because medicines work to control sugar, which helps in healing the wound after controlling it.
But it helps in healing the wound directly. When we take out the patient’s fat, it comes out in big particles, which are first made smaller. He also said that it only helps in healing the wound, if a situation arises where the leg has to be amputated, then it is of no use. It was claimed that till now the stem cells of stomach fat are used for the treatment of many diseases, but this is happening for the first time in the state for the treatment of diabetic fat.
There is rapid development in the blood vessels
Doctors said that when a patient has a wound on his leg, the stem cells of stomach fat are applied on it. Due to this, new blood vessels start forming rapidly. Due to which the patient’s wound also heals quickly. So far 30 patients have been included in this, the result of which is very good.
Its thesis is being prepared at present. Later its paper will also be published. Let us tell you that this research is being done by resident Dr. Daniel Raj under the guidance of Dr. Sachin Verma.
