Conversion by making an undeclared church in Ratlam150 tribals met in the church for prayerThey used to claim that diseases will be cured by prayer

Naiduniya representative, Ratlam: On the complaint of conversion by calling a prayer meeting to cure the disease and citing free education, treatment, the police reached the big hall (alleged church) built in the field of village Amlipada, about eight km away from Ratlam, on Sunday. People come here every Sunday to pray.

About 150 tribals were found present in the prayer meeting. Most of them were women and children. A case has been registered against Prabhu Machhar, who is accused of conversion. According to the police, the complainant VHP Dharma Prasar Administrative Head Pankaj Chauhan said that when he went towards Amlipada on Sunday, his acquaintances Guddu Maida and Munnalal Pargi informed him.

Inducement to convert

He told that Prabhu Machar of Amlipada has built a church in his field. He has invited tribal people from nearby villages. He had also invited both of us. When we went there, Prabhu Machar was luring the tribal people for conversion by offering them free treatment and education.

Prabhu told both of us to adopt Christianity and tell your acquaintances about it. We will also give you commission. We refused and came out of the church. Then we went to the church with our friends Kuldeep Gurjar, Gaurav Sharma, Ashu Tank, Anil Rotela and saw a man sitting in front of the people preaching Christian missionaries and making them pray from the Bible.

He was saying that if you people become Christians then your family will get free education in school and free treatment in our organization’s hospital. Prabhu Machar was tempting people to adopt Christianity. On the report of VHP administrative chief Pankaj Chauhan, the police have registered a case against the accused Prabhu Machar under section 3/5 of the MP Religious Freedom Act 2021.

Away from the main road, a house built in the field was given the shape of a church

The building of the so-called church is visible when you cross the Delhi-Mumbai railway line from the main road and go into the fields. The people who come here are from the tribal community. Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s district minister Sharma alleged that people are called in the name of prayer, treatment and service and are motivated to adopt Christianity.

Some sick people were also found in the alleged church, who were being converted. This church was being run inside a field and the administration was not even informed. Strict action should be taken. During this, VHP’s religious propagation chief Babla Gurjar, Lala Gurjar, Sunil Rathore, Ravi Sharma, Vijay Prajapat, Sumer Singh, Lalit Chandel, Lakhan Tank, Shubham Sharma, Balram Deshmukh, Nanu Panchal, VHP propagation chief Ricky Sen etc. were present.
