Fun zone ready for children, they can enjoy it from today

The Municipal Corporation has created a new fun zone under the Padav bridge for children’s physical activity as well as for people to roam around with their families. This fun zone has facilities for children ranging from badminton to other games, while pathways and greenery have also been taken care of for people to roam around.

Along with this, attractive lighting has also been arranged here in the evening, so that people can also take selfies here. Preparations are being made to open this fun zone for the public from today. Mayor Dr. Shobha Sikarwar and Chairman Manoj Singh Tomar will inaugurate it on Thursday evening. After this it will be opened for the public.

There was a vacant space under the pillars of the Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya Railway Overbridge located at Padav for a long time. Due to this place not being used, people used to park their vehicles here. Apart from this, dirt also started spreading here. In such a situation, it was decided to start beautification work here with the budget of Rs 1.5 crore received through Smart City Corporation. First, this place was completely cleaned.

After this, a boundary was made between the pillars and beautification work was done inside. It has been named a fun zone for children, in which badminton court and basketball court have also been prepared. Children will be able to come here and enjoy these games. A pathway has been prepared for the elders accompanying the children to walk. Greenery has also been done here, so that there is a natural feeling, along with this modern focus lights have been installed.

Separate parking, CCTV surveillance

Two parking lots have also been arranged for the people visiting here. Two-wheeler and four-wheeler parking lots have been made separately. Apart from this, separate entry and exit gates have also been made. To ensure that there is no damage to the property in the fun zone, monitoring has also been arranged through CCTV cameras. For this, cameras have been installed and a small control room has also been prepared.

Construction will also take place under other bridges

The Nagar Nigam has prepared this fun zone under the Padav bridge under the pilot project, but now on the same basis it will be prepared under other railway overbridges as well. In this, a plan will also be prepared for the railway ROB located at Vivekanand Needam. Although this railway overbridge is not ready yet, but according to the primary survey, the Nagar Nigam will get more space here where a bigger fun zone can be built than the Padav bridge.
