According to SI Khushboo Parmar, the accused is Jatin Malviya. He used to study with the girl student. Both of them became friends due to studying together.

The student alleges that Jatin took her out on her birthday. At night, he stayed in a hotel and had physical relations with the student and also made a video of her in an objectionable state.

A few days ago, when the student’s father saw the video, he was shocked. The victim told the relatives the reality and lodged an FIR against the accused. On Monday, the police arrested Jatin.

Relative raped her and posted her photos on Instagram

Vijayanagar police has also registered a case against relative Dashrath Vishwakarma under rape and IT Act on the complaint of a student. According to the SI, the student told the police that she had come for studies in the year 2021. Dashrath had sex with her on her birthday. When the family was told about the incident, they did not file a report for fear of defamation and took the victim home. The accused uploaded the photos of the student on social media. On Monday, the police registered an FIR against Dashrath.
