India in touch with Russia on COVID-19 vaccine, know what more the Ministry of Health gave

Country corona virus cases (Coronavirus) are growing rapidly. About 65,000 new COVID-19 cases are being filed every day. In terms of total cases of corona virus, India ranks third in the world after USA and Brazil. According to the information given by the Health Ministry on Tuesday, the number of patients cured by the virus in the country is 3.4 times more than the active case. In the press conference of the ministry, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that active cases in India constitute 22 percent of the total cases.

Bhushan said that in a country with a large population like India, raising the test per million is a challenge. He said that 2.70 percent patients are on oxygen, 1.92 percent in ICU and 0.29 percent patients on ventilator. Now 58,390 deaths have occurred in the country from Corona. Of which 69 percent are male and 31 percent are female. Of these, 11 percent are 26–44 years old, 36 percent are 45–60 years old and 51 percent are above 60 years old. Today there are 1524 testing labs. 

According to ANI, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that as far as the Sputnik-5 vaccine developed by Russia is concerned, India and Russia are in touch. Information is shared at the initial level.

Balaram Bhargava, director general of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), said that three vaccines in India are at the clinical stage and three at the pre-clinical stage. The serum institute has vaccine phase 3. It has a sample size of 1700 people. Bharat Biotech sampled 375 people in Phase 1. Now phase 2 is to begin. Zayed Cadila’s vaccine sample of Phase 1 was 50. Now phase 2 is about to begin. This is a vaccine of two doses. A second dose is given on days 14–28 and then antibodies are seen after 2–4 weeks. He said that the epidemic is increasing due to some irresponsible people.
