This unit will start from this week for women who want abortion. A panel of three doctors is giving training for this. Two doctors and two nurses are being trained in this center which is being opened on the instructions of the health department. There is a long legal process in CAC. If the pregnancy is up to 20 weeks, then abortion will be done with the approval of only one doctor, whereas if the pregnancy is up to 24 weeks i.e. six months, then two doctors will complete the process of completing this work after complete investigation.

MTP procedure will be adopted during pregnancy termination

During abortion, the process of MTP (Medical Termination of Pregnancy) will be adopted. There is a long process in Comprehensive Abortion Care. A form will be filled for this. If only the woman wants abortion, then it will not be possible. The consent of the husband will also be required for this. After both the consents, the form will be filled. It will be signed. After this, a proper investigation will be done. After this, the abortion process will be adopted.

That’s why I started the center

Doctors said that many women come to the hospital and tell that they have become pregnant without planning, whereas it was not necessary as per the family circumstances. Many times women do not want a child due to other physical problems. Every day many such women come with their problems.

Women are also being made aware

Women coming here are also made aware of Comprehensive Abortion Care (CAC). They are told when they should conceive. What precautions should be taken during this time. So that the mother and child remain physically and mentally healthy. Women will be informed about many such points.
