Naiduniya representative, Itarsi. On Friday night at 2 o’clock, a crazy young man living in 12 Bungalow and a minor got into an argument over a minor issue in the railway premises. In this argument, the young man stabbed the teenager with knives. The teenager’s intestines came out due to deep knife wounds in the stomach. He was referred to Bhopal in a critical condition late at night. The condition of the injured teenager is said to be critical. He is undergoing treatment at Hamidia Hospital Bhopal, where he is battling between life and death.
The accused was crying on the birthday of his angry wife
The reason for this dispute at night is also very interesting. GRP station in-charge Ramsanehi Chauhan said that Sanjay alias Samadhan, a resident of 12 Bungalow, was roaming around the railway premises after drinking alcohol at night. He was crying loudly near the passenger waiting room behind the stalls, the reason was that his wife, a resident of old Itarsi, was angry with her husband and was at her parents’ house for the last one month, it was her birthday on Friday, Sanjay had drunk a lot of alcohol due to the separation from his wife, he was crying here taking his wife’s name.
Just then Kishore Suraj, son of Saligram Keer, a resident of Nadi Mohalla, Malviyaganj, and another youth standing with him rebuked Sanjay and asked him why he was crying here. Sanjay said that his wife had become upset and had gone to her parents’ house.
He was crying because today is his birthday. Suraj and his friends asked him why he was crying here and asked him to go away. This led to an argument between the two. In the argument, Suraj and his friends slapped Sanjay three or four times. The argument escalated so much that Sanjay went a little further and came with a knife in his hand. He got furious and attacked Suraj. He stabbed him several times in the stomach, which caused serious injury to Suraj’s stomach. His intestines came out and he was referred to Bhopal late at night. The police have registered a case against Sanjay alias Samadhan under various sections. Suraj’s father works at a tea stall on Station Road. His son was attacked in the rear part of the shop.
Railway premises become a den of miscreants
After sunset, the railway premises turn into a den of goons, miscreants, knife-wielders, anti-social elements, drug addicts and pickpockets. There are fewer passengers here and more outsiders roam around fearlessly. Due to the presence of tea, gutkha pouches and tea-snack shops around, the anti-social elements roam around drunk throughout the night. GRP jawans patrol here at night, but the goons and miscreants roaming around the shops are not chased away.
Sanjay alias Samadhan kept creating a ruckus here after drinking alcohol and holding a knife in his hand, he tried to murder an innocent teenager, but the GRP did not seem to be alert here.
In the past, whenever there have been unpleasant incidents, the city police have shut down the shops here, but after four days, everyone gets a license to do as they please. Such incidents are also raising questions on the safety of passengers.
MLA Dr. Sitasaran Sharma has given instructions to the police officers in this matter many times, but the officers are not paying heed to his instructions, due to which criminal incidents are happening in the railway premises every day.
Attack over petty dispute
There was no old rivalry or dispute between the minor and the attacker, this attack happened due to a temporary dispute. We have instructed the staff to increase patrolling in the premises at night and drive out the criminals and drug addicts.
