Naiduniya representative, Ujjain: The second procession of Lord Mahakal started from Mahakal temple on Monday in the month of Shravan. Before setting out on the tour, Lord Mahakal’s Chandramouleshwar form was worshipped in the assembly hall. Panchayat and rural development minister Prahlad Patel also worshipped Lord Mahakaleshwar along with his wife in the assembly hall. Baba Mahakal set out on the tour riding on a silver palanquin as Chandramouleshwar and on an elephant as Manmohan.

In the second Sawari of Sawan, Lord Mahakal gave darshan to the devotees in two forms. Avantikanath came out to give darshan to the devotees in the form of Chandramouleshwar in a silver palanquin and Manmohan on an elephant.

As a representative of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Minister Prahlad Patel walked on foot from Mahakal Temple to Shipra Ghat. He performed Abhishek Puja of the Lord on Shipra Ghat.

Bhopal’s police band Dutt is giving a performance

A group of tribal artists from Chhindwara and Dindori also participated in the procession. At Dutt Akhara Ghat on the banks of Shipra, a police band of 350 jawans from Bhopal presented the melodious sound of Shiv Bhakti. This year, under the plan of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, tribal artists are being included in every procession, who will make the procession even more special with their cultural presentations.

Tribal artists presented culture and folk dance in the divine procession of Baba Mahakal.

A wave of faith surged in the divine procession of Maharaj Mahakal, adorned with tribal culture and filled with the devotional tunes of 350 trained soldiers of the police band.

The armed forces contingent saluted Rajadhiraj at the main gate of the temple, after which the caravan proceeded towards Shipra banks.

The procession reached the Ram Ghat of Mokshadayini Shipra via traditional routes. Lord Mahakal was anointed and worshipped with Shipra water. After the worship, the procession reached the temple at seven in the evening via the prescribed routes.

Baba Mahakal, riding on an elephant, gave darshan to the devotees in the form of Manmohan.
