In Morena, neighbours threw acid on a sleeping family at midnight

In Lepa village of Morena, on the night of 14-15 August, neighbours threw acid on a sleeping family. The husband, wife and their newborn son were burnt by the acid. All of them were admitted to Bhind District Hospital. The accused Shivam Tomar has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder case.

Monsoon super active in MP in next 48 hours

On Monday, a big difference in the weather was seen in different districts of Madhya Pradesh. The temperature in Ujjain, Narmadapuram and Narsinghpur remained above 34 degrees, while Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur were sunny. There was rain in Narmadapuram, Shivpuri, Mandla, Rewa, Satna and Seoni. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain on August 21-22.

MP 12th topper Khushi Singh committed suicide

Madhya Pradesh’s topper student Khushi Singh committed suicide. Khushi, who secured first position in the state in the 12th examination in 2020, had dreamed of becoming a teacher. Khushi had scored 486 marks out of 500 and dreamed of becoming a teacher. The police conducted the post-mortem and handed over the body to the family and started investigating the incident.

NCL shaken by CBI’s action in Singrauli

CBI raid in Singrauli NCL has created a stir. Four crore rupees in cash has been recovered along with the arrest of DSP, two officers and a contractor. NCL security officer Ravindra Kumar Prasad is missing, police is guarding his house. CBI investigation is still going on.

Home guards will handle the security arrangements of Mahakal Lok

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Dharmswa Department office shifted from Bhopal to Ujjain. On this occasion, two new police stations were opened and it was announced that the security of Shri Mahakal Mahalok will be handed over to the Home Guard. The Chief Minister also talked about allocating a budget of Rs 500 crore for the Maha Kumbh of 2028.

Mahakal’s last ride in the month of Sawan

The last procession of Lord Mahakal in the month of Sawan was taken out on Monday. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the procession for the first time, along with BJP President VD Sharma and Minister in-charge Gautam Tetwal. CRPF band and artists of Gond tribe also participated in the procession. Devotees got to see five forms of Mahakal.

Gwalior-Bengaluru flight cancelled, plane did not start

Air India Express flight from Gwalior to Bengaluru was cancelled on Monday due to a sudden glitch. Passengers had checked in and received boarding passes, but the plane did not start as the flight time approached. Most of the 155 passengers had already boarded.

CBI raids continue on NCL officers’ premises

CBI’s action against officers and suppliers of NCL Northern Coalfields Limited continued on Monday as well. Based on the raids conducted on Saturday and Sunday, CBI on Monday also raided the residences of NCL officers, where search for cash, jewellery and documents is being done.
