Naiduniya Representative, Indore: Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MP PSC) has changed the schedule of State Service Main Examination 2024. The examination to be held in September has now been scheduled in October. Due to this, the candidates have got relief. The commission has scheduled the papers between October 21 and 26. The commission has released the new schedule of the examination on the website.

According to the officials, candidates will have to apply for the main examination from August 6 to September 5. The result of State Service and Forest Service Preliminary Examination 2024 has been declared by the Commission on Saturday. 3328 candidates have been selected for 110 posts in State Service and 14 posts in Forest Service.

New schedule of main exam released

Now on Monday, the commission has released a new schedule for the main examination. Earlier the papers were scheduled between 9th and 14th September. These have been extended by 50 days. Candidates will be able to give the papers between 21st and 26th October from 10 am to 1 pm. There will be four papers of general studies, general Hindi and grammar, Hindi essay and format writing.

Candidates will be able to apply from 6 August

The exam will be conducted in ten districts, in which centers will be set up in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Satna, Chhindwara, Ratlam, Sagar, Barwani and Balaghat districts. According to the commission officials, candidates will be able to apply for the main exam from August 6, while the link for correction of errors in the application will be open from August 9 to September 7.

Candidates have got relief due to the change in the exam schedule. Due to this, candidates will get enough time to prepare for the exam. Candidates say that there has been a 35-40 percent change in the syllabus. Many subjects have been kept new. It will take time to understand and study them.
