State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the Lakhpati sisters of Madhya Pradesh and will felicitate them. The felicitation program is being held in Jalgaon, Maharashtra state on Sunday. Five Lakhpati sisters of Madhya Pradesh have reached Jalgaon to participate in the program. Among them, Lakhpati sister Ganga Ahirwar of Guna district will be given the certificate of felicitation.

Kamini and Sangeeta will talk to PM

Lakhpati Didi Sangeeta Malviya of Sehore district and Lakhpati Didi Kamini Sharma of Guna will interact with Prime Minister Modi. Lakhpati Didi Laxmi Tirke of Chhindwara district and Lakhpati Didi Roshni Lodhi of Dewas district will also be present. After the Jalgaon program, programs will be organized at the Cluster Level Federation (CLF) level of Madhya Pradesh, where all the Lakhpati Didis of CLF will be given certificates of honor.

Prahlad Patel said, pride of Madhya Pradesh

About Rs 110 crore bank loan (CCL) amount will be given to women self-help groups in all the districts of the state and about Rs 171 crore community investment fund (RF CIF) will be distributed. Rural Development Minister Prahlad Patel said that Lakhpati Didi is the pride of Madhya Pradesh.

96 thousand 240 sisters became Lakhpati Didi

After the central government’s target of making lakhpati didis in 100 days, 96 thousand 240 sisters in Madhya Pradesh became lakhpati didis. They have been given financial assistance, market assistance and technical assistance by Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission. Their products are being marketed online.

Lakhpati didi will be honored

28-year-old Ganga Ahirwar of Mahalpur village in Guna district was selected in the 100-day action plan of the Government of India. She expanded the canteen and started a restaurant, which helped her save 15-20 thousand rupees every month and she joined the category of Lakhpati Didi.

Roshni Lodhi formed 50 self-help groups

Roshni Lodhi, a resident of Kajlivan village of Bagli block of Dewas district, formed 50 self-help groups with 600 women from nearby villages. Roshni was selected as Bank Sakhi. Today she is providing banking facilities in many nearby villages. She earns 20 to 25 thousand rupees every month as commission. This has strengthened her financial condition and also increased her respect.
