New Delhi: Bhopal. PM Modi inaugurated 1.75 lakh houses built in 12,000 villages in Madhya Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awaas Yojana and got home to 1.75 lakh families. The objective of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is to empower the poor and its results are also visible. The Prime Minister said that this day also strengthens the belief of crores of countrymen that government schemes made with the right intention are also realized and reach their beneficiaries. I can feel the satisfaction of my colleagues who have found their home today, their inner confidence.
PM Modi said that in general it takes 125 days on an average to build a house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In this era of Corona, houses have been built and built in just 45 to 60 days under PM Housing Scheme. This is a very good example of turning disaster into opportunity.
