According to Superintendent of Police Vivek Kumar Singh, this incident happened at Garh village of Garh police station area at 3 pm on Saturday. Sunrise school was closed. During this time, the parents of the children were standing to pick them up. The children were leaving the school and as soon as they reached the wall of a house built next to the school, it collapsed and fell on the children.

In the accident, eight children including a female guardian were buried under the debris, while two children were partially injured. Eight-year-old Raksha Gupta and 28-year-old female guardian Rani Prajapati are undergoing treatment in a critical condition. Of these, Anshika, Manya and Siddharth were children of the same family. Siddharth was the only brother of his eight sisters.
