State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal. Many educational institutions of Madhya Pradesh have secured better positions in the ranking of National Institutional Ranking Framework-2024 by the Union Ministry of Education. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore is among the top 10 institutions in the country. It has secured the eighth position.
Devi Ahilya University in top-100
At the same time, the only Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya of the state has made it to the top 100 universities of the country. It has got the 50th position in the category of State Public University. Bhopal’s Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, School of Architecture and Planning, National Law Institute University, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are included.
IIM Indore got eighth position
In the National Institutional Ranking Framework-2024, rankings of top higher institutions in engineering, medical, law, management, university and other categories along with leading educational institutions across the country have been released. IIM Indore has maintained its best performance among the leading management institutes and has secured the 8th position. It is a leader in the field of best management education for teaching, research and interaction with industries. From the year 2016 to 2022, this institute has been among the top institutions in the country in the subject of management.
Two institutes of Madhya Pradesh in top 100 colleges
Two institutes from Madhya Pradesh have been included in the top-100 colleges. IIT Indore has secured 16th position with 64.72 marks. Whereas, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) has improved its ranking and secured 72nd position. It was at 80th position in the last census. In the overall ranking of 100 institutes, Indian Institute of Technology, Indore has secured 33rd position, this institute has also secured 27th position in the list of research institutes and 16th position among 100 institutes in the engineering category.
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has secured 78th position in the overall category. Whereas, it was at 60th position in the last census. At the same time, Bhopal’s Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) has been ranked 72nd in the engineering category.
The same institute of Architecture and Planning has secured the 17th position among the top 40 institutes. In the category of architecture institutes, the School of Planning and Architecture has been ranked 12th. Talking about the top 50 medical institutes of the country, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) of Bhopal has secured the 31st position. It was at the 30th position in the previous ranking.
Similarly, among the law institutes, the National Law University Institute (NLIU) Bhopal has secured the 21st rank among the top 40 institutions but it has slipped three places compared to the previous ranking. The ranking is done on these bases. The parameters of ranking include teaching, learning, resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes outreach etc.
