In the case of extorting more than 22 lakh rupees from a teacher by making a nude video and threatening him, the Cantt police station has finally registered a case under the section of extortion by threatening. The teacher had given an application to the SP on 22 July in this case.

    He had said that he was forced to commit suicide. After this, Navdunia published the matter prominently, on which the MP government took cognizance and asked the district police to take action in the said case, after which the police registered a case late last night.

    On the complaint of teacher Brijendra Sharma, son of Madan Mohan Sharma, age 51 years, resident of Cantt Road Hirabagh, a case under section 384 of IPC has been registered against the accused Asha Jatav, Jagveer Jatav, Santosh Mohane, residents of Gopalpura Police Station Cantt. It is alleged that the accused made obscene videos through video calls and threatened and blackmailed the teacher and extorted Rs 22 lakh.

    The government teacher is working in the BEO office in Guna. He told that skating and self-defense instructor Asha Jatav used to come to the Government Girls Higher Secondary School Cantt for training. There she befriended his wife Preeti Sharma. After this, she opened a mobile shop in front of their house and started visiting their house.

    During this time she befriended the teacher. After this she kept contacting him regularly. When the teacher’s wife was not at home she would come home on some pretext. She would tell him about her problems and ask for money. On this the teacher and his wife helped her and gave her money many times.

    Blackmailing started from March last year

    The teacher told that one day in the month of March 2023, Asha and Santosh Mohane, who claimed to be Asha’s brother-in-law, came and said that we have your obscene videos, which we will make viral and show all this to your wife. We will also complain against you to the police under rape, SC, ST Act. In such a case, you will have to pay 20-25 lakh rupees in compromise. You will also lose your job and will not be allowed bail for six months. To avoid this, give 25 lakh rupees. She said all this in front of the police in the Cantt police station.

    Gradually the amount grabbed

    The teacher said that he got scared by the accused’s words and on March 31, 2023, he transferred Rs 90,000 to them on Phone Pay and gave Rs 3 lakh 40 thousand in cash. After this, Santosh Mohane asked for money on the phone and he took Rs 10 lakh. Then Asha’s husband Jagveer Singh called and threatened and the husband and wife together grabbed Rs 8 lakh 80 thousand.

    An unknown woman made phone calls about false complaints

    The teacher said that Santosh Kumar Mohan used to talk about becoming an ADPO judge. He also introduced him to a person named Shyam, about whom he said that he is a police station in-charge of Vidisha district and will become DSP after passing the PSC. Those people kept threatening him. He repeatedly filed false complaints in the police station. He got continuous calls and messages from an unknown woman, about which he complained to the cyber cell.
