Raipur November 10, 2025/Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai visited NAMTECH in Gandhinagar, Gujarat today. This institute is known for teaching manufacturing, engineering, and technology in new and modern ways.

Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that Gujarat is the holy land of Mahatma Gandhi and Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, which has given the message of development, self-reliance, and innovation to the entire country. He said that he wants such institutions to be established in Chhattisgarh where youth get opportunities for modern technology and industrial training. The Chief Minister said that the state government is working rapidly towards connecting youth with self-employment, technical knowledge, and industries.

Upon reaching the college, the Chief Minister carefully observed its teaching methods, modern laboratories, and technical facilities. He interacted with the students and learned how they gain practical knowledge by working on projects and machines. The Chief Minister also discussed their experiences and future plans with the students.

Chief Minister Mr. Sai informed that there is a plan to develop the state’s ITI colleges in such a way that youth can get information about new technologies like smart manufacturing, robotics, and automation. He said that in the coming times, modern machines and digital training facilities will be introduced in Chhattisgarh’s colleges, so that students can develop practical work skills along with their studies.

The management of NAMTECH College informed Chief Minister Mr. Sai that in Gujarat they have adopted a model under which education has been made more effective by connecting colleges. Students there are now capable of working directly in industries by learning new technology. The college management also stated that they are willing to cooperate similarly in Chhattisgarh so that the state’s ITI colleges can also become modern. The plan is to create a network model by connecting some colleges, where one college is proficient in new technology and imparts that knowledge to other colleges. With this new model implemented in Chhattisgarh, more than 10,000 youth will be able to receive training related to new technology and modern industries every year. This will provide students with practical work experience along with their studies. They will develop a deep understanding of machines, automation, and new engineering methods. In this way, they will get better employment opportunities and will be ready to work in major industrial projects of the country.

Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that Chhattisgarh’s role will be extremely important in realizing the dream of Developed India 2047. He said, “Youth are Chhattisgarh’s greatest strength. Chhattisgarh is now preparing such youth who will move forward towards a developed Chhattisgarh and a developed India with new thinking and modern technology.”
