Parking fee receipts will be issued only through POS machines at all parking places. If any person is found parking with a printed receipt or bag, strict action will be taken against him.

    Corporation Commissioner Harendra Narayan gave these instructions to the officers on Friday while reviewing the work of the hoarding and parking department. He instructed the Additional Commissioner to go with the zonal officers and seize the printed receipt boxes.

    Immediately after his order, Additional Commissioner Harshit Tiwari along with Zone 13 Zonal Officer Nilesh Srivastava reached the parking lots running in MP Nagar, KK Plaza, Number 10 and Bitthal Market. Where the team seized the printed receipts from the employees collecting parking fees.

    The Corporation Commissioner said that unless the parking employee has a POS machine, he will not collect parking fee. The Corporation Commissioner said that the zonal officers should provide POS machines in their subordinate areas and immediately stop collecting parking fee at those places where POS machines are not available.
