The Pendra district administration has taken strong action against officials for the improper implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Rajkumar Sharma, the Secretary of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat, has been suspended due to his negligence and lack of diligence. Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant for the same panchayat, has received a show cause notice.
Further, the Secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat has been ordered to be immediately reassigned. This action follows the direction of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaid. He made it clear that the government will not overlook negligence in any of its schemes. He cautioned all panchayat employees that tough measures will be used against anyone who creates issues with schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The administration’s strict stance has led to heightened awareness within the panchayats, with others receiving guidance to implement the schemes in a timely and transparent manner.
