The box office numbers are in for Pawan Kalyan’s film, ‘They Call Him OG.’ The film’s debut was met with significant attention, though a decrease in collections followed. While the film is performing well in India, it has yet to garner widespread interest in the Hindi-speaking market. The film is also doing well in international markets. ‘OG’ now poses a challenge to Rajinikanth’s ‘Kuli,’ the highest-grossing South Indian film of 2025. If ‘OG’ maintains its current performance, it could exceed ‘Kuli’s’ all-time earnings. The film’s quick success saw it cross the ₹200 crore mark in just four days.

‘OG’ had a pre-release collection of ₹21 crore through advance bookings and paid previews. On its opening day, the film earned ₹63.75 crore in India. Subsequent days saw a steady performance, with ₹18.45 crore on Friday and ₹18.50 crore each on Saturday and Sunday, leading to a four-day domestic total of ₹140.20 crore. The gross collection in India is ₹164.35 crore. Internationally, ‘OG’ has collected ₹55 crore, excluding the latest day’s figures. The global total is ₹200 crore.

Rajinikanth’s ‘Kuli’ is currently the highest-grossing South Indian film of 2025. It earned a net collection of ₹284.84 crore in India, with a gross of ₹337.30 crore. Overseas earnings reached ₹179.7 crore, resulting in a worldwide collection of ₹517 crore. The film’s performance in the coming weekdays will be critical in determining whether ‘OG’ can break Rajinikanth’s record, with ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ being a strong competitor.
