The Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor has led to significant changes in the operational landscape of terrorist groups. Jaish-e-Mohammad and Hizbul Mujahideen are now relocating their bases from POK to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a decision facilitated by Pakistani government agencies. This shift reflects the impact of the Indian Army’s actions in POK, which has made the region less secure for these organizations.

Operation Sindoor involved the destruction of numerous terrorist camps and facilities by the Indian Army, including those in Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Muzaffarabad. The operation was launched in response to a terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, which resulted in the deaths of 26 people. The Indian Army initiated the operation on May 7th, targeting and dismantling Pakistani terrorist groups from within its own territory.
