    Gift of development works worth Rs 140.96 crore to Bemetara district

    Announcement of 33/11 KV sub-station in Singhoda, barrage construction on Shivnath river in Amora, and middle school in Basni

    Raipur, October 9, 2025/Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai today gifted a total of Rs 140.96 crore worth of 47 development works for Bemetara district. These include the groundbreaking of 27 works and the inauguration of 20 works. Addressing the public meeting organized on this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that by living up to the trust of the public, the state government is fully committed to all-round and inclusive development. He said that the goal of the government is to implement development works in the state on the ground with speed and transparency.

    Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that the government is working for the all-round development of the state with transparency, accountability, and commitment. He informed that work is being done at a rapid pace in the state in the fields of roads, drinking water, health, education, and urban facilities, which are directly benefiting the public. On this occasion, he announced the construction of a barrage on the Shivnath river in village Amora, the establishment of a 33/11 KV sub-station in Singhoda, and the start of a middle school in village Basni. The Chief Minister also reviewed the exhibition set up by various departments at the venue.

    Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that the state government is continuously working to make villages self-reliant and empower farmers. He said, “We have fulfilled most of the guarantees of the honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi ji in a short time.” The Chief Minister informed that paddy is being purchased in the state at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal for 21 quintals per acre. Farmers have been given bonus for the last two years and 18 lakh homeless families are benefiting from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. To make women self-reliant, an economic assistance of Rs 1000 per month is being provided under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He also informed that tendu leaf collectors are being purchased at the rate of Rs 5500 per standard bag in the state.

    Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Sao said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai, the government is working with the highest priority on the empowerment of villages, the poor, farmers, and women. Food Minister Mr. Dayal Das Baghel said that the state government is operating the Public Distribution System (PDS) with transparency, so that no family remains hungry. He said that the Chief Minister’s intention is that the benefits of development should reach the last person in society.

    Member of Parliament Mr. Vijay Baghel said that the state government is fulfilling the promises made to the public with full dedication and commitment. He said that development works are being done rapidly in rural districts like Bemetara, which are providing relief and better facilities to the common people. MLA Mr. Dipesh Sahu also addressed the program.

    On this occasion, Food Minister Mr. Dayal Das Baghel, Cultural Minister Mr. Rajesh Agrawal, Technical Education Minister Mr. Guru Khushwant Saheb, Mr. Prahlad Rajak, MLA Mr. Ishwar Sahu and Mrs. Bhavna Bohra, Avdhesh Chandel, Mr. Labhchand Bafna, Chairman of Telghani Board Mr. Jitendra Sahu, along with many public representatives, representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions, and a large number of villagers were present.
