Direct benefit to farmers from Rs 3100 per quintal price

Raipur, November 24, 2025/ This year, the paddy procurement festival in the state is being conducted with complete ease, transparency, and order. The farmers are filled with enthusiasm and confidence due to the arrangements made at all paddy procurement centers in the state under the direction of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai.

Farmers who arrived to sell paddy at the Adimjati Cooperative Limited Committee Mendrakala located in Gram Panchayat Bhithi Kala of Surguja district appeared fully satisfied with this year’s procurement system. Farmers stated that the procurement process is more smooth, convenient, and transparent than before.

Farmer Bankeshwar Ram said that the paddy price of Rs 3100 per quintal set by the government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai is directly benefiting the farmers financially. He informed that weighing, moisture testing, and other processes at the procurement center were completed without any difficulty, making the procurement experience seamless.

Seeing the well-arranged facilities available at the procurement center, Farmer Bankeshwar Ram expressed gratitude towards the state government and said that the farmer-friendly schemes of the government are strengthening the rural economy.

The preparations made by the district administration—availability of gunny bags, transparent weighing, prompt payment system, and continuous monitoring—have further strengthened the farmers’ confidence in the process.
