Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan has conveyed his country’s solidarity with Iran in the wake of recent events. He held discussions with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian and condemned the Israeli attacks as provocative in nature, urging unity within the Muslim world.

Israel initiated airstrikes on June 13, leading to casualties among key military figures and scientists. Iran responded by launching missile attacks on ports and other strategic locations.

Prime Minister Sharif strongly criticized the Israeli air attacks, emphasizing their violation of international law and the UN charter. He asserted Iran’s right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN charter.

In a parallel development, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud engaged in a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. The Crown Prince offered condolences to the President and the Iranian people and expressed his sympathy to the families who suffered losses as a result of the attacks.

He reiterated Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of these attacks, which he said were a violation of Iranian sovereignty and international norms. The Saudi Crown Prince highlighted the importance of dialogue for resolving disputes.
