Bihar’s political landscape is buzzing as the assembly elections approach. The opposition is actively accusing the ruling NDA of ‘vote theft,’ challenging their authority. The ‘Voter Rights Yatra,’ led by Rahul Gandhi, concluded on Monday, with an incident occurring where Pappu Yadav was once again barred from a vehicle. The incident was recorded and shared on social media, igniting debate.

On the final day of the ‘Voter Rights Yatra,’ Pappu Yadav, the Lok Sabha MP from Purnia, was involved in an incident. Despite already being seated in a vehicle, he was told to get out. This led to a heated argument between Yadav and a female Congress leader who was in the vehicle. The incident occurred near JP Golambar in Patna.

Following the departure of Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi from Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, Pappu Yadav was situated in another vehicle in the convoy, according to reports. A female Congress leader was also present in the same vehicle. Despite Pappu Yadav already being seated, a member of Rahul Gandhi’s team told the independent MP to exit the vehicle.

This situation quickly escalated into a heated argument between Pappu Yadav and others present. They became embroiled in a sharp exchange. Bhai Virendra, an RJD MLA from Maner, was also on site. Ultimately, Pappu Yadav was asked to leave the vehicle following the altercation.

This is not the first instance of such exclusion. Previously, on July 9, during a Bihar bandh organized by the Mahagathbandhan in Patna, Pappu Yadav was prevented from boarding a vehicle. During that event, Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, Dipankar Bhattacharya, and other coalition members were present. Pappu Yadav’s attempt to board a vehicle during the demonstration was unsuccessful. He was later compelled to clarify that he had not attempted to board the vehicle.

When questioned about the incident, MP Pappu Yadav mentioned he wasn’t listed, therefore, had no reason to be on stage. He said his main concern was ensuring Rahul Gandhi had safely boarded the truck. He also stated that the Bihar bandh was called by the Congress party, acting under the party leadership’s directives.

Kanhaiya Kumar, a young Congress leader, also attempted to board a vehicle but was stopped. This incident was also captured on video and circulated widely. However, during the Voter Rights Yatra, Pappu Yadav did get an opportunity to ride in a vehicle.
