In a move to tackle one of the region’s worst traffic chokepoints, authorities are accelerating a new bridge project over the Hindon River to better link Noida and Greater Noida. The route from Knowledge Park III to Sectors 146-147 will offer a vital alternative, slashing pressure on Pari Chowk.
Site inspection by Greater Noida Authority GM AK Singh revealed brisk progress. The Greater Noida approach road, 1 km long and costing 25 crores, is 50% done, with full completion eyed in six months. The bridge, managed by Bridge Corporation, follows suit in timeline.
Synchronization efforts ensure approach roads on both ends finish alongside the bridge, enabling quick inauguration. CEO NG Ravi Kumar underscores the project’s urgency: reduced travel time, shorter distances, and jam-free Pari Chowk for thousands of daily users.
This corridor targets residents and workers in Knowledge Park and adjacent sectors, promising transformative connectivity. Officials stress quality alongside speed, aiming for a durable addition to the area’s infrastructure.
Community anticipation runs high, with expectations of punctual delivery heralding an era of efficient, stress-free commuting between these key urban hubs.
