Pawan Kalyan’s ‘OG’ Soars with $2.14 Million in North American Pre-Sales

The forthcoming action-thriller ‘OG,’ starring Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi, is gearing up for its release. The story follows Ojas Gambheera, a gangster who returns to Mumbai to confront a rival. The trailer, released recently, has fueled excitement, providing a sneak peek of the intense face-off between Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi, featuring dynamic visuals and thrilling action. The film is experiencing significant pre-release success, particularly in North America, with impressive advance sales. By a certain date, ‘OG’ had already sold a significant number of tickets, accumulating a substantial $2.14 million in advance bookings. The US market alone witnessed almost 69,000 tickets sold, resulting in nearly $1.97 million across over 2,100 screenings in more than 490 locations. A surge in bookings is expected as the premiere approaches, especially following the release of the film’s highly anticipated trailer. The film stars Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, and more. Pawan Kalyan has discussed his projects, sharing that he finished filming ‘OG’ and has a small amount of work remaining on ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh.’ He emphasized his commitment to his political work with the Janasena Party, suggesting this would impact his future acting roles. ‘OG’ is directed by Sujeeth and produced by D. V. V. Danayya under DVV Entertainment, with a theatrical release planned for September 25, 2025.
