    Prime Minister Narendra Modi has deployed government ministers to flood-affected areas to oversee relief operations and has prioritized providing immediate assistance. National General Secretary of the BJP, Tarun Chugh, will coordinate the efforts. State ministers will be stationed in the affected regions to evaluate the progress of relief efforts. The ministers are mandated to visit four states which recently experienced severe flooding. A 1200 crore rupee relief package has been announced for Uttarakhand. The Prime Minister announced financial assistance for the families of the deceased and injured. A high-level meeting was held to assess the damage. The Prime Minister also announced that children orphaned by the recent disasters will receive support from the PM CARES for Children scheme to ensure their long-term care and well-being. The Prime Minister acknowledged the severity of the situation. A multi-pronged strategy for recovery includes rebuilding homes, repairing roads, and providing financial aid. The Prime Minister met with National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force, and Disaster Mitra volunteers. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand thanked the Prime Minister for the relief package.
