Union Minister Chirag Paswan stated that Rahul Gandhi’s comments regarding the elections suggest that he has already accepted defeat in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Paswan criticized Gandhi for blaming the Election Commission and EVMs, arguing that the focus should be on internal issues within the Congress party. He added that the Congress is likely to lose in Assam and Bengal as well.

Tejashwi Yadav, a leader from RJD, aligned himself with Rahul Gandhi’s accusations against the ECI, claiming that constitutional institutions are under threat from the ruling party. Yadav alleged that the BJP has undue influence over the election process and that the integrity of these institutions must be preserved.

The discussions follow Rahul Gandhi’s comments on social media concerning Maharashtra polls. The ECI has refuted Gandhi’s claims.
