Political Leader Warns of Potential Misuse of Asia Cup Funds by Pakistan

She urged every Indian to remember that the issue is not just about sports, but also the damage caused to the country. This follows the backdrop of the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which resulted in 26 fatalities, and the Indian army’s Operation Sindoor on May 7. The operation resulted in the destruction of terrorist hideouts and targeting of Pakistani airbases, including those in Rawalpindi and Muridke. Chaturvedi expressed her serious concerns about the possible reconstruction of these areas.
