Meghalaya: 31 supporters of NPP and TMC arrested for violence in West Garo Hills area

On Thursday, February 9, Meghalaya Police said that at the least 31 supporters of the National People’s Party and the opposition TMC had been arrested in Meghalaya’s West Garo Hills area for his or her alleged participation in pre-election violence earlier this week.
