‘Metro Man’ E Sreedharan to hitch BJP forward of Kerala elections

Elattuvalapil Sreedharan, popularly referred to as ‘Metro Man’ is all set to hitch the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday, experiences Times of India. The state BJP can also request him to contest the Kerala state meeting elections. He has been crucial of the Pinarayi Vijayan led state authorities previously.
E Sreedharan, certainly one of India’s biggest engineers, is instrumental in envisioning and designing metro infrastructure in numerous cities within the nation, particularly the formidable metro rail challenge in Delhi. He retired as chief of Delhi Metro on December 31, 2011.
The Kerala-based engineer acquired the sobriquet of ‘Metro man’ after he oversaw the implementation of city infrastructure initiatives of metro rail.
Sreedharan will formally be part of the social gathering throughout the Vijaya Yathra, a rath yatra scheduled in Kerala forward of the state meeting elections. The rath yatra is about to launch on February 21 from Kasaragod and ends in Thiruvananthapuram in March’s first week.
Kerala is scheduled to go to elections in April. In 2016 meeting elections out of 140 seats, BJP had received just one seat – Nemom.
