Rajasthan: Posters accuse Congress councillor Farid Qureshi of Hindu exodus

In the Kishanpole house of Rajasthan’s Jaipur, posters accusing Congress councillor Farid Qureshi of an alleged exodus of Hindu locals have sparked outrage. The row erupted after a relative of Congress councillor Farid Qureshi bought the house of a Hindu family throughout the Kishanpole house. As the posters blaming the Congress chief for the alleged exodus of native Hindu households surfaced, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) accused Congress of doing appeasement. The Congress celebration, nonetheless, acknowledged that it may take movement in opposition to people who put up the posters. Meanwhile, the police have moreover registered an FIR in opposition to the unidentified people and refuted the claims of the alleged exodus. 

The poster reads, “Local residents – forced to flee. The Exodus of Hindus from the Kishanpole area continues. Congress councillor Farid Qureshi. Ward no.69 is responsible for it.”

In Ward amount 69 of the Kishanpole house, a neighborhood resident Om Prakash Pareek purchased his dwelling to the relations of Congress’s Farid Qureshi as he was offered the required amount. While the locals have alleged that Pareek purchased his ancestral dwelling to Farid Qureshi’s cousin while Hindu households had been eager to purchase it. Qureshi refuted the allegations saying that the Hindus and Muslims have been residing there peacefully.

On May 8, Om Prakash Pareek had filed a criticism in opposition to some of us accusing them of disrupting communal harmony by giving communal coloration to the property purchase.

The ‘exodus’ posters had been pasted throughout the Purohiton Ka Chowk, whereby spherical fifty Hindu households reside. The residents throughout the house declare that the Muslim inhabitants throughout the house is being purposely elevated. The locals have blamed this on Congress councillor Farid Qureshi. The girls moreover claimed that the Muslims there have threatened to drive the Hindus out of the world. The locals blamed Congress councillor Farid Qureshi for allegedly disrupting the harmony throughout the locality.

“Earlier, our children could freely roam even during the night, but now our freedom will be snatched away,” a neighborhood lady talked about.

Another one alleged that “if these people (Muslim family) are hurling abuses even before they have moved in their house, what will they do once they start living here.”

The native girls clarified that there are 4 Muslim households already residing throughout the locality they usually have no factors with them.

Taking to Twitter, BJP chief Ramlal Sharma slammed the CM Ashok Gehlot-led Congress authorities and sought movement in opposition to those behind forcing Hindu households to migrate.

“Rajasthan government should stop the politics of appeasement, Work to stop the migration of Hindus. Take action against those forcing you to flee,” Sharma tweeted.

However, in response to the BJP’s claims, the Congress has termed it as a result of the BJP’s polarisation politics throughout the state. Congress spokesperson RC Chowdhary has demanded movement in opposition to the one who put up the talked about poster.

Meanwhile, DCP (North) Rashi Dogra Dudi talked about that an FIR has been registered and wanted movement is being taken. The DCP maintained that no exodus befell in Kishanpole and rumours are being unfold by anti-social elements.
