TMC candidate Saayoni Ghosh runs after being harassed by get together staff

Ahead of the upcoming State Legislative elections in West Bengal, actress-turned-TMC politician Saayoni Ghosh was harassed and manhandled by her personal get together members, reported ETV Bharat. She will probably be contesting the polls from the Asansol Dakshin constituency.
During a marketing campaign rally in Banpur on Sunday, Ghosh was seen operating from her get together members after they gheraoed her from all sides. She met a number of locals in the course of the marketing campaign path, sometimes shaking fingers and urging them to vote for the Trinamool Congress. In a video shared by ETV Bharat, TMC staff had been seen huddling to face nearer to the actress, invading her personal area and inflicting her discomfort.
Irked by the get together staff desperately making an attempt to get near her, Ghosh ran away from them for about 50 metres. When they tried to chase her down, she yelled, “Ekdom picha thakun (Stay away from me).” A visibly uncomfortable Saayoni Ghosh then pointed fingers on the TMC staff and directed them to maintain their distance. Her safety guards then stepped in and shaped a sequence to maintain the ogling TMC males away.
Netizens criticize the harassment of actress
The therapy meted out to the actress by her personal get together has left a number of netizens questioning how can the Trinamool Congress declare to guard girls. Saayoni Ghosh had posted image of ‘condom on Shivling’
On February 18, 2015, the actress had tweeted an image whereby a feminine character was seen placing a condom over the sacred Hindu image of a Shivling. She wrote, “Gods cudnt have been more useful.” Her tweet maligning Hindu tradition was posted on the auspicious event of Maha Shivratri, which was noticed on February 17 that 12 months.
Saayoni Ghosh had subsequently issued an apology claiming that her account had been hacked. Following the announcement of her candidature from Asansol South, folks had reshared the outdated tweet, asking the actress about her full disregard of Hindu sentiments.
