His film ‘The Raja Saab’ is set for release next year. While many actresses desire to work with him, one notably turned down a film despite the success of ‘Baahubali.’
This situation occurred in 2019, when Prabhas collaborated with Shraddha Kapoor in an action thriller. The film featured various Bollywood actors, including Chunky Panday, Jackie Shroff, Vijay, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Mandira Bedi. The film received mixed reviews, but it was a commercial success, grossing 149 crore. Reports suggest that Katrina Kaif was the original choice for ‘Saaho,’ and the makers spent six months trying to get her. Prabhas also waited, but she rejected the role.
Katrina was offered ‘Saaho’ before ‘Baahubali 2.’ She decided not to accept it, and the makers decided not to pursue her further. Katrina has never spoken publicly about these rumors. Another report suggests she wanted to work in Prabhas’s film but chose to support Salman Khan.
It’s said that at the time, Salman Khan was working on the film ‘Bharat.’ After Priyanka Chopra left the project, Salman’s film faced difficulties. To support him, she reportedly turned down the offer from Prabhas. However, the actress has not commented on this issue.
