BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Dev dropped bombshells on Congress’ historical role in India’s partition, claiming the party ratified Jinnah’s proposal at its own conclave. From Ranchi, he tackled Digvijay Singh’s barbs, Ram Setu saga, Shankaracharya notices, and Bangladesh’s pre-poll volatility in a detailed IANS briefing.

Dismissing Singh’s partition rhetoric as hypocrisy, Dev laid bare the facts: ‘Congress embraced Jinnah’s partition call during their session. Those who orchestrated the divide should introspect before speaking out.’

On sacred matters, Dev accused Congress of betraying Lord Ram’s legacy. In 2007, amid Ram Setu litigation, the UPA regime fictionalized the epic and Ram to appease business pressures for bridge demolition. ‘Such moves, including Tamil Nadu faith provocations, strike at Hinduism’s core—BJP stands unyieldingly against them,’ he avowed.

Detailing the Sangam clash, Dev portrayed it as a routine enforcement. The Shankaracharya proceeded sans permission, prompting a 100-meter halt for the rath due to crowd risks. Despite pleas from followers, authorities upheld protocols to prevent mishaps.

Dev voiced alarm at Bangladesh’s Hindus facing repeated assaults before February elections. ‘Jihadi forces are inflaming the atmosphere intentionally to delay voting and divide communities,’ he charged, pressing the government for accountability.

Commenting on US-Greenland dynamics and tariffs, Dev celebrated India’s trajectory under PM Modi. In 11 years, the nation has outpaced struggling global peers with robust GDP growth, proving resilient policies amid trade headwinds.
