As the monsoon season nears its end across India, the IMD forecasts significant rainfall in several states. Southern India and the Northeast are likely to receive a substantial amount of rain. A low-pressure area has developed over the coastal regions of West Bengal, northern Odisha, and the northern Bay of Bengal. Another low-pressure system is likely to form near the northwest and central Bay of Bengal around September 25th. This could lead to heavy to very heavy rainfall in many states before Dussehra.

Delhi has seen the end of the rainy season. No rain is expected for the next five days, until the 29th. While afternoons are warm, nighttime temperatures are normal. The sky will be clear until the 26th, and partially cloudy from the 27th to the 29th.

    **Weather in Uttar Pradesh:**

Uttar Pradesh is currently experiencing hot weather. According to the weather department, eastern Uttar Pradesh may receive showers and thunderstorms today, while western Uttar Pradesh may remain dry. Similar conditions are expected tomorrow, with a chance of rain and thunderstorms in eastern Uttar Pradesh, and clear weather in western Uttar Pradesh.

    **Bihar and Jharkhand Weather:**

The weather in Bihar is expected to be mixed today, with heavy rain in some districts and sunshine in others. Heavy rainfall is expected in Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Supaul, Araria, and Kishanganj. Heavy rainfall is also predicted in Patna, southern Bihar districts, and the Seemanchal region. The meteorological department has issued a warning for heavy rain and lightning in the southern districts of Jharkhand for the next three days.

    **Rainfall in Other States:**

Odisha is expected to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall until the 26th, with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana expecting it on the 26th and 27th of September. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in the Konkan region, Goa, and the Ghat areas of central Maharashtra from September 25th to 29th. In Kolkata, streets and railway yards are already flooded. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is possible in Kolkata until the 26th.

    **Mountain Regions Weather Outlook:**

Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, Dehradun, Chamoli, Nainital, Rudraprayag, and Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand are expected to experience heavy rain and strong winds for the next 3 days. The monsoon is expected to withdraw soon from Himachal Pradesh. However, the weather department has predicted rain in several areas of the state today and tomorrow.
