    State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Director General of Police Sudhir Kumar Saxena will retire in November. The government has started the process to appoint a new Director General of Police in his place. The proposal will be sent to the Union Public Service Commission this month. The names of special Director Generals will be proposed in it, out of which a panel of three names will be made and given to the state government for decision.

    It will have the names of only those officers who have ten years of experience working in investigative agencies and have at least six months left for retirement. Police headquarters and Home Department officials said that the Union Public Service Commission has amended the guidelines for the appointment of the Director General of Police.

    Now only the names of Special Director General of Police level officers can be proposed. They should have at least ten years of experience working in CID, Crime Against Women Cell, Economic Offenses Wing (EOW), Cyber ​​Crime Cell, Government Railway Police (GRP), IB, Anti-Terrorism Unit, Research Analysis Wing (RA)/ Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Enforcement Directorate (ED), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Special Protection Group (SPG), National Security Guard (NSG), Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy.

    Their names will be proposed

    Shailesh Singh, Arvind Kumar, Sudhir Kumar Shahi, Kailash Makwana, Ajay Kumar Sharma, Govind Pratap Singh, Vijay Kataria, Varun Kapoor, Upendra Kumar Jain, Alok Ranjan and Pragya Richa Srivastava.
