    The Quad Foreign Ministers, including India’s Dr. S. Jaishankar, convened in the US to address critical global issues. Discussions centered on the imperative of zero tolerance for terrorism, with Jaishankar asserting that victims and perpetrators must not be equated. The meeting included US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Japan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Takeshi Iwaya, and Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong. Jaishankar highlighted India’s determination to protect its citizens from terrorism and sought the understanding of Quad partners. Moreover, the ministers reiterated their commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific region, supporting a rules-based international order. India announced plans to host the next Quad Summit, with proposals in development to ensure a successful and productive outcome, looking forward to collaborative discussions with its partners.
